Valserena, one of only four dairies in the Consorzio di Sola Bruna, is renowned for its exceptional butter, crafted from the milk of Brown Swiss cows raised on their own farm. Every step, from cultivating fields to producing Parmigiano Reggiano and butter, is carefully managed to ensure the highest quality. Their butter, made from milk fed exclusively on the farm’s own alfalfa, boasts a rich, creamy texture with delicate grassy aromas and a smooth, mild flavor—highlighting the unique qualities of Brown Cow milk. Founded in 1879, Valserena is the oldest Parmigiano dairy still in operation.
