This dried enoki mushroom was grown in Kagoshima Prefecture using a special blend of thinned cedar wood and rice bran as a culture medium which produces a rich flavor and aroma.
The enoki is slowly dried in low heat the day that it is gathered. You can taste a different rich flavor when it is dried that you cannot taste when it is fresh. You can eat it as is as it does not have to be reconstituted in water so it is very convenient.
