The design of the Aiya series is informed by traditional Japanese chrysanthemum plates (菊皿). The silky-smooth glazed finish has a very subtle sheen. The lines radiating from the center are slightly raised. With its rich "kiln-changed (sendan 窯変)" colors and impeccable craftsmanship, this series will elevate any tablescape.
Each piece is glazed by hand. Slight variations are to be expected and celebrated.
